Why not? Salvador Dali is probably the most inspiring surreal artist, or overall artist of all time in my opinion. His artwork has always inspired me and has brought me to where I am today. I decided to go with the piece, Les Elephants, because I got the most meaning out of it. Although surreal art is not supposed to have a certain meaning or direction, I recognized that the elephants have a very weak and brittle appearance just by looking at their legs. Although their legs seem weak, they are carrying a heavy monument on their backs making them strong. Therefore, to see is not to perceive. You cannot judge a book by its cover.
